Communion

Frequently Asked Questions

This FAQ section is meant to answer some of the questions you may have before your first visit to Valley Life Church.

Where and when are the Sunday services?

There are two Sunday morning services: 8:30 and 10:30 am. We meet at Park and Vine in Lebanon, Oregon. Directions are available here.

What should I wear?

Wear what makes you comfortable. Most people at Valley Life dress casually. We care more that you are with us than with what you wear.

How long are the services?

The Sunday services are about an hour and a half.

What kind of music do you play?

Our worship team is made up of guitars, drums and vocalists and plays contemporary worship music.

What is the service like?

Our services begin with several worship songs followed by the morning message from the pastor. After the message there is more worship music during which time we serve communion. You do not have to participate in the communion.

Do I have to say anything or will I be singled out?

Absolutely not. You are our guest and we want to respect your right to privacy.

What about my kids?

We have a Children's Ministry program that is available for Nursery (starting at 6 weeks) through the 5th grade. Check out the Children's Ministry page here

Anything for teens?

The Valley Life Youth Group meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. This is for High School/Middle School. The Gospel Youth Corps meets on Mondays at 6:30 pm. Most meetings are held in the VLC Gym. Look in the Know (our church bulletin) for summer schedule changes. Need more information? Call the church office at 541-258-5315.

What kind of church is Valley Life?

Valley Life is a non-denominational Christian church. However, we are part of the Acts 29 Church Planting Network. We hold a high view of the Bible, the sovereignty of God and the importance of having Jesus at the center of our church and our lives. Our church also places a high value on community groups as a way of building Christ-centered relationships for the purpose of discipleship.

What is the Acts 29 Church Planting Network?

You will find more information about Acts 29 on the VLC web site here or at the Acts 29 web sit here.
